I have the Lightconn from dreamods. I shipped my PAL light gun and had it modded. It does work, however in my setup, accuracy is not perfect, although it could probably do with some fine tuning on my end.

I have the DCHDMI mod which is connected to a 65" OLED via an AVR. Input lag is not an issue and the Dreamcast is set to 1080p output using the 960p integer window.

The tv is below eye level when standing so calibrating the light gun can be tricky as it's pointing down rather than straight ahead. During calibration you have to point into the corners of the image, as the Dreamcast video signal is 4:3, not the corners of the screen which is 16:9.

It's a bit of a faff getting it set up, however when it works, it feels great. I hadn't played a Dreamcast light gun game in over 20 years due to switching from a CRT to rear projection tv in 2001. The Dreamcast only has 4 light gun games I think, so it's an expensive option just to play them on a modern tv. It did put a big smile on my face playing House of the Dead 2 and Confidential Mission with a light gun again after all these years though.
