A wild Gold Dreamcast Appears

Post by killer-elite »

This listing has appeared on eBay for a 1/5 Gold Dreamcast that was I think a promo item for a store opening and a Dreamcast Baseball Game...The guy is asking for $1,500 (current price at the time of this writing) for the item. So tempted to break open my piggy bank for this sucker... I have posted photos of the Gold Dreamcast, Gold Controller, Gold Ball and Custom Case that appears to have signatures of Baseball Players?/Owners?/Makers of the Game?? Im bringing it here to find more info and share the glory of this shiny azzz Dreamcast.

UPDATE : THE ITEM IS A FAKE!!!! DON'T BID ON IT UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THAT ITS NOT OFFICIAL !!!

Here is the reddit post I just saw

Here is the eBay listing for the said item..

It's a fake. This guy has sold countless of "10th Anniversary Sonic Dreamcasts" and recently decided to start making the still never surfaced golden Dreamcast.

Isnt it the same guy that just sold the 3/5 Golden Dreamcast?? That one sold for 2.5k dollars just a while ago... I dunno about the fake part, looks like the best fake I have ever seen in my life if it was...

This guy is a notoire bootlegger, with each system he sells he gets better in perfecting his craft. I guarantee you, once this is sold, not too long after he will offer "wow its a miracle" a third golden Dreamcast for sale.

The fact that you are thinking, but why would this be a fake because it has all these little extra's.... shows his extra effort it working in tricking you in thinking it's real.

The Japanese written in white pen is a mess.
The exhibitor has failed to translate and transcribe.

Now that you believe it's a fake, you might want to update your first post with a warning, just in case someone gullible skips reading the thread and goes to buy/bid straight away ;)

Is there any way to let eBay know these are fakes?

yes you click on the report item on the page and it gives you options to report why it should be taken down...I guess if enough people complain it will be removed
