This one have an proximity sensor on it's scope. It simulates the button press to zoom the image on screen when yo put it near your face.
I've never seen one and I have no idea if it's good to play this way.
Just got my Dreamcast Mouse through and quickly got a GDI of HotD2 (NTSC) and burnt a CDI of Virtua Cop 2 (NTSC-J). Unfortunately neither seem to pick up the mouse as a peripheral, which is both annoying and baffling, seeing as the mouse was around from the beginning and is a no-brainer input method for games with onscreen cursors.
I might try out the version of Virtua Cop on the Sega Smash Pack, but otherwise it's back to the drawing board for these two!
I have posted about this elsewhere before, but I'd really love HOTD2 and the other lightgun games that aren't presently compatible with the mouse to be made to work.
I did not know that Confidential Mission was compatible. Not knowing anything about the programming of games, I wonder if there is a chunk of code from that game that enables different controllers which could be applied to HOTD2 etc?
