Gonna pre-order it shortly with any luck! I've got my BBA all ready to go. Is there a drive to use discord chat and stuff like that for when playing this at all? Can use the discord chat via the phone app and maybe ear buds etc to chat while playing...

Also is there any setup required for playing it online or is it as simple as just firing up the dc and connecting online? I know there's a lot of setup to get older retail games working again like PSOv2 etc but I'd assume a purpose built game would just pick up the online connection and run straight away

So on for the BBA you need to use something like XDP to configure the settings. The options menu does show the connection information but it's not configurable from there.

For modem, it'll read settings configured by any of the browser discs, but has fallbacks if those settings don't exist.

ok cool so if my BBA is already configured to allow me to go online with PSOv2 for example over BBA, then I should be good to go right?
