Ok if he doesent want to release the data he doesn't have to. if you ask me yes putting the data out there would be a huge help to other people that want to see the game made and work. but remember hes the one that put money into this thing. and maybe he does not have enought time to compress and upload the files to a hoster. when i go to work strait from school for 3hrs thats 10hrs a day of work and i really dont want to do anything after that. hes busy so just leave him alone if you really want to make a game that has not been seen why not just start buying the dev kits from ebay yourself?

diden't know the whole forum was about getting games out of dev kit and stuff like that. theres no possible way that this forum is based for Online Dreamcast game. gee i wonder where i will find one that can
1. Help connect online.
2. Host there own servers
3. play with others

its on the tip of my tongue but i just cant name the site.

Why are you so rude sin ??

The man said he was busy. LEAVE HIM ALONE. remember its his data, not yours.

I never moaned about them not releasing it, nor have I seen anybody else moaning and complaining about it here.

sin wrote:Somebody buys just a devkit, withholding game data that he never worked on and trying to get a profit out of it is not very nice, especially when he asks people for free advice on how to get this thing working.

Whomsoever said he wanted to make a profit? The only person that I honestly recall refering to him possibly making a profit from it was smith, and he just asked if thats what he wanted to do. :P

sin wrote:u just don't get it

I don't think you do. The man said that he was busy with work, so let's all let the man do his job and when it is all over with, then we will get what we all want. Give him a week, and we can see if and when we can get it playable.

Patience is a virtue young grasshopper. XD

Hey smith i was thinking for a seccond. now i know how you recently released the shenmue with the voices from the xbox and man i would have to say its GOD!!! some parts are hardly noticible while others you can. but what if you used some of the voices and sounds from Skies of Arcadia legends to skies of arcadia for the dreamcast. Maybe you arleady thought of this and know its not possible. but some more 99 minute games would be awesome i still have over 40 of those cds left :D

Personally I'd love to see a rip of Shenmue I (preferably the European build so the save could be easily transferred) with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Just like the European version of Shenmue II.

o it can be easily transferred. shenmue save converter can transform ntsc-u (save) to pal-e (save) then you can continue the game.
