looking at this part makes me wanna play the game all over again ;)
the crappy english dubbing still sucks though. never got that, the french voices fit all the characters perfectly & they chose this shit for the "world" version

honestly you make it sound like this game is on a par with say Blue Stinger or Maken X in terms of dubbing, Evil Twin is by far one of the best in my opinion, I had no idea it had been done in French before! Ok the sync isn't particularly good but I just figured the sound was poorly edited, you'll miss the odd word off the beginning or end of a sentence but I never felt it was a dodgy dub. still maybe its just me lol

dude, its a french game ;) ;) ;)
it hasn't "been done in french before", its "been dubbed in english later"

and I'm not talking about the sync, but about the voices themselves; they just sound horribly wrong

I thought Carrier had some of the craziest shit I've ever seen in voice acting because it could be amazing and utter crap from line to line. Its like some of the characters (including the main character) actually put some effort into reading the lines and put a lot of feeling into them but then there would be a sentence that doesn't make any real sense in English and they just read it monotone. I loved how at the end your character (I played it 3 days ago and can't remember his name for the life of me) yells out to the Colonel (!) and they just repeat the recording three times in a row lol

no way mate, the voices in Evil Twin don't "sound horribly wrong" your being VERY overly dramatic, I could reel off a thousand games that have released before and since that had horrid, bad, terrible voice overs, for me to not EVEN KNOW that it had been dubbed shows its plenty good enough, if you prefer the French thats fair enough but this is in no way on a par with games like Blue Stinger, Deep Fear, Maken X etc in terms of poor dubs

To all those others here who are still unsure about getting Evil Twin, don't let Maz put you off, he's obviously not had his fibre today ;)

I like seeing some of the diversity in surroundings. It seemed that most of the screenshots in reviews for this game focused mostly on the first part with the barren islands and the dirty looking ocean. I sort of got the impression the locations for the entire game looked like that.
