Another popular modem that works on dream pi is the Trendnet tfm561u modem, which on closer inspection us the Same connexant chips that's in the rd02-d400 but the board is completely different, fancy data light on front too different.
The board is Much different but I'll try and work a way to install an LVI in these modems as well. I picked one up used on ebay for 3$ to try out.
I'll let you know if it can be done on these trendnet modems as well =)

Well after some late night soldering and frustration, my first attempt where I put the lvi didn't work I had to remove the parts and fix a trace and with some trickery i re used the parts and rewired it and found out how to put the lvi in these modems as well

success with a mess

If anyone also has that ZooM56k modem i think that works with dreampi too does anyone use that one?
