Dreamcast Was Never That Good

The original ps3 backwards compatible had hardware issues. Let's not forget about the updates for games and the system. That's frustrating.

On top of that the Dreamcast didn't have an orange triangle of death or something similar like those 'real consoles' had...

and played ps1 games much better than the ps3! (in terms of presentation)

ive seen some of yall posting flat out lies/misinformation about the dreamcast. im not going to bother quoting it tho. pretty pathetic tho. andi take back the dreamcast being revolutionary. its basically a sega saturn copying elements fro mthe n64 controller. the modem is a joke. past consoles had a modem. and during htis time 1999 online gaming was getting big. just because they tried to rush a console out during this time dont mean they were ahead of their time. they were trying to catch up with the pc market already having quake 3 online etc. xbox came out a little while after doing it properly.

It is true past consoles had a modem and online gaming like the saturn but the dreamcast was one of the first to include one on day one and in the box, it also unlike the netlink had to time to grow and expand and did stuff that had never been done before on consoles like leader boards, true dlc, voice chat and broadband support and of course the first console mmo
