Man, I really wish someone would translate Eldorado Gate…

I never owned a Saturn during the time it was still on the market because I didn't know about it because I remember for my like birthday I asked my dad what were the new consoles out and he only told me Playstation and Nintendo 64 and I asked what is the difference and he said Playstation is CDs and Nintendo 64 is still cartridges so I chose the PlayStation because it would be my first CD console because I didn't even know about the Sega CD. But now I have all those consoles.

But when the Dreamcast came out I played a demo of Sonic Adventure on a console I had no idea what it was I just knew it had a sega logo on it then I find out what it was called Dreamcast and well my grandma is a gaming grandma where she bought most of the consoles and bought for us cousins a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure and played the fuck out of that game and we also had Crazy Taxi and love that game "Axel" is my character choice we did get the second one as well.

Now I remember I was in Texas with my dad for the summer and watching TV I see the Sonic Adventure 2 commericial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7jGyI3Xmvg and quickly called my grandma to buy that game but don't let anyone play it till I get back there. I gave my life story with the systems lol. I love both but If I had to choose 1 it would be Dreamcast.

Both great consoles. I think Dreamcast certainly had much more of an impact, and a lot more hype surrounding it before release. Dreamcast has one of the most consistent game libraries in console history but the Saturn also has a very respectable library. Great even if you're really into arcade fighting games, and even then there's a lot more good than bad in general on the Saturn. Where the Saturn falters is its 3D implementation and its lack of third party support, both of which the Dreamcast excelled at during its short life. I'd say the Dreamcast is a better console, pretty cut and dry, but the Saturn is by no means a bad console. They're both really enjoyable.

Same, I like that he's basically just Joey Cape driving a taxi lol

Given Crazy Taxi's skate punk soundtrack I'd like to think his image from around that time was a major influence

@mondogecko: the saturn had an insame amount of third party support, there are more third party games on the system that there are sega games on it…
