Awesome job. Since I don't have GDEMU, please, reupload the CDI version! Thanks in advance.

1- Are you guys planning on figuring out a way to overcome these bugs without need for gdemu firmware patch ? I ask because people with gdemu clones wont be able to update their hardware’s firmware or Deunan’s Fixes.

2- Also, if I hit the deal breaking bug in disc2 with the jewels with the gdemu clone, I can always swap GDEMU with my original disc drive, put disc 2 in of my original CV get past it save it and swap back GDEMU, and deal with the music dropouts before then as noted, but would this work combining a CVX save with CV disc2 ? Is there an easier way to do this too, with emulation? How would I easily transfer gamesave from my VMU to a computer if so? Or would I need CDI version of CVX on a disc and to do disc drive replacement temporarily with that to get past the jewel part and save, to get back to GDI on a gdemu

3- did CVX on DC get released as ‘CVX’ specifically or is it the special edition CV in JP without the X name? Asked in another thread, but Can’t seem to ever find evidence CVX was released in Japan on DC but it was since yours is a piecemeal of things supposedly

4- CV vs. CVX, no changes in gameplay just more cut scenes and some minor tweaks to characters’ involvement with the story right? (Without getting into spoilers)

Thanks i am very curious !

1) This question should be asked to the clone manufacturer
2) For transfer save need SD adapter + DreamShell

with dreamshell last version of loader for idemod, 0.7.x to 0.7.0b2_fix, normally you don't have the issue. But not tried yet. If you do, please tell if it's good.

At now I'm focus on french RECVX version and the .cdi needs downsample for FMV and sound. I don't have time but you can do it by yourself using familly guys tools.

is far as i know dreamshell with correct settings will play it without issues. for save transfers do as megavolt85 said. if clone manufactures are serious and care about their buyers will take the new fw for gdemu and will make it work for their clone once the official fw released. although deunan will make it hard.
CVX is the western name of the full game, kazenbam is the japanese name of the full game. and no you cannot load this translated CVX game save on standar cv. i used to have a downsample program that downsample the videos and the quality loss was barely visible but i lost it.
visualy both are the same exept steve model and the extra videos as you say. but when i compare the same maps with hex editor i found a lot with diference even on maps without steve. so technicly they are lot of diference between cv-cvx

Unfortunately cloners don’t care at all about customers. Not sure it’ll be updated either since Deunan likely has protection on firmware’s after 5.12 or something

Can you use DreamShell method with gdemu or is that just for the serial port method

Not for gdemu, the update will come from the manufacturer.
