mrneo , was there useless track data ? How are the musics ?

I went into Music menu to compare with my GD , the GD says 21 tracks 122:04 long , track 01 03 and 20 not playable

Yours says much different though

No problem I'm glad to answer.

This is copied from Marcus comstedt about gd-rom tracks:
Definition of Sessions:

Session 1: Low Density Area of GD
Both tracks must contain 4 sec of data:
Track 1 - Mode1: GD buffer
Track 2- CDDA: Stores audio file to be played when inserted into a CD player
Session 2: High Density Area of GD
Need for two Mode1 tracks:
Track 3: Mode1 buffer area
Needs 4 secs of data
Track Tab: Pad Track Check Box

On my release I believe i took all of the music tracks and trimmed right around 52 seconds off and then added a 3 second fade out to the track.

Data was only about 250mb. I could have made the tracks slightly longer but I was testing a bunch of new tools and methods and I promised to have the release out that night. Due to the new environment and time restraints it wasn't a perfect release but I'm happy with it.

I'll get you the length of the tracks vs the original tracks later, I'm at work currently.

If you have any other questions I'd be glad to answer. I'm putting some of my "hobby time" towards getting the pal/composite issue fixed but sh4 reverse engineering is fairly new to me still.

Edit.

I got the Mad Catz one for about $10 including shipping a couple years ago. The thing is huge so I'm certain the seller lost money after shipping.

Is the grey one with orange buttons?
Maybe is the same MadCatz than i have. Works fine on Monaco, but in arcade mode is so hard to control, better feeling on simulation mode.

A theme apart, i wish to try some Monaco GP champinship mode online, in game manual says that the Qualify have to be runned too on each circuit, a funny thing that i want to test.
