I was wondering, does Sega Swirl's email based online system still work? I would think it would, but since SegaNet is down I don't know.

you need to setup a cmail server for your dreamcast email first. Ive been wanting to try out the email mode on it too.

if an easy email relay thing was setup on dreampi it would be simple. ive bugged a few people about looking into this. its a matter of figuring out what provider to use and how to set up configuration for people that aren't good with command line stuff like dcnow registration

essentially instead of cmailserver you'd use the dreampi thing if it existed

the problem is the encryption protocol all providers use now aren't supported by any browser. a dreampi solution would solve many problems other than sega swirl
