connect with japanese pso

so, my japanese copy of pso finally arrived, i entered the serial (which was accepted by the way) and tried to connect but i got a network error and a message saying i should configure internet settings. i tried using the patcher but i'm getting the same error. i've even tried with a pal pso found on the net, where internet is working but the game is not accepting the serial.

any help?maybe i need to configure internet with the dreampassport?or simply i'm not able to go online with japanese games?

Yeah I believe you need to configure the Dreamcast using Dream Passport. Might be a challenge considering it's all in Japanese though. lol

i believe it too, or better, i guess, well will burn dreampassport tomorrow and will report on here, in the meantime every suggestion is appreciated of course

I think that's about all I can suggest. I don't have any experience with the Japanese version of PSO myself. Although I do recall a post someone made not too long ago describing a similar issue. Someone in that thread mentioned that you might need Dricas account info stored on the console or it won't connect. Not sure if that's true or not.

i read that post but he just gived up, so i do think i can't even play chuchu rocket online since it's japanese too...

well what if i donwload pso from here and use my legit serial code?

Unfortunately I don't think that'll work. You would need to have the serial and key saved to the console for it to accept it. The only way to do that is to successfully connect with the JP copy first but obviously you're not able to do that.

i'm a transmission user and i'm fine with that but thanks anyway, as for the serial, the jap copy is accepting my serial, but then it says my dc is not configured and that i should configure it via the browser, the burned copy instead accepted me a serial found on the net but on the legit one is just giving me an error...

tried even chu chu rocket which seems to succesfully connect to the access point but then is throwing me an error...
