I've just got a pi4 and i wanted to use it for multiple things but also for dreampi but the raspberry pi wouldn't boot when using dreampi 1.7 is it compatibility issues is there a way to make it work?

I too wish the image is updated for raspberry pi 4 too!

I've also got a RPi4 as well, and unfortunately DreamPi isn't compatible with the RPi4 (yet, or at least normally).

Still hoping we can get support for the Pi 4.

I only jumped to Pi on v4 too, and now I can't run this Where can I know the roadblocks to maek it work on Pi4? Maybe I could help?

I will try and update the image for the Pi 4 but no gaurantees. I don't have a Pi 4 to test with so it makes things more difficult. Kazade doesn't either which is why he hasn't updated it.

Alright, I've updated the image for the Pi 4. Again, I don't have a Pi 4 to test it with but it "should" work. It still works on the Pi 3 after the updates so that's a good sign. You can download it from here. I should note that due to the larger boot partition required by the Pi 4 and the extra updates, the image is quite a bit larger and needs at least a 4GB SD card.

Anyway, please report back to me if it works and I'll add a link to download it from the DC Live Downloads page.

I can now confirm that dreampi on pi4 does indeed work though the picture doesn't seem to show up on screen, still i'm happy that i can at least play online now.

No it doesn't my guess is it has something to do with the fact the raspberry pi 4 has 2 HDMI ports, i can still play online but can't access dreampi features.
