Thanks Scrivani!! This topic helps me a lot! This is the solution for old devices that has problem with open ports in cgnat. The modern ones doesn't seem to have this problem at all, i think its because of the UPNP compatibility, i don't know. VPN is the only way that i can play Sega Dreamcast games, that require port forwarding, online in my cgnat internet.
This topic also helped me to sucefully remote play my PS3 games on my PS Vita via internet (outside home). Using the vpn on an internet router and opening the ports on PUREVPN website. The PS3 open ports normally to play games online even on cgnat, but in remote play mode it doesn't open, RP just open in NAT internet but not on CGNAT. It requires an external solution like a VPN with port forwarding installed on the router to work. I tried and it Works! The PS4 doesn't have this problem like the PS3, it works fine.
I installed vpn on my dreampi, at the moment the raspi is compatible only with pptp protocol, but PUREVPN are closing some pptp servers, i can't use my dedicated ip in pptp anymore, just the shared ones from the purevpn servers list supports pptp protocol, dedicated ip is just on OPENVPN and Ikev2 protocols. I made a search, and all the other VPN services doesn't offer support for pptp protocol with PF too. In the near future the solution'll be buy an internet router compatible with OPENVPN protocol.
