Ok well I can try testing it again with another person. No one is online atm. It did download the quest fine with no one else in the game though and I was able to enter caves.

I just finally got around to testing out the Vega quests with another person. Impulse and I were both able to load the v2 quests without any problems. We tested Endless Nightmare 2 again, as well as TTF++. So if anyone is having issues with loading the quest files this must be a client issue. I was using EU v2 disc to play and Impulse was using the US v2 disc. We also tested the first three battle quests which were recently modified. I still need to test to make sure PC and DC work cross-platform in battle mode though.

If anyone is still having issues with loading quests on Vega please post which version of the game you are using and how you are connecting to the server.

EDIT: It does seems that some of the psov1 quests are NOT working on Vega. I will try to fix this later this week. For the time being please avoid the quests on v1.

That also, of course, means avoiding them when playing in any team where v1 is allowed. Just in case that wasn't clear to anyone. ;)

If you want to play them in the mean time, they should still work fine on Iselia and Altimira.

Just to be clear, when we say "v1" and "v2", we're referring to PSO itself, not the patcher disc.

If you're having issues with v1.1 of the patcher disc, try using version 2.0 of that and see if that corrects anything. I can't guarantee anything, as I've never seen the issue that you're describing there in any version of the patcher.

Oh, and when you disconnect, the reason you can't immediately reconnect is that the server hasn't realized you disconnected. The server tries to ping your client every 30 seconds when your client hasn't sent any other packets for whatever reason (including being disconnected). If the server doesn't hear back within 2 minutes, it drops the connection on the server-side. So, in theory, you should be able to reconnect after a maximum of a little more than 2 minutes (no more than 3 minutes should be required, in theory). ;)
