Ditto, ncman071! It's just not the same plus they make you download "stuff" on most servers. Dreamcast is the way I like it...connect, run and gun!

How to program a private server for PSO without the source code? Why is a server for UT not possible in the same way?

The server software for PSO was reverse-engineered using packet logs that were captured back when PSO was still online via official servers. Unfortunately no such packet logs exist for the Dreamcast version of UT or many of the other games for that matter.

Compare client packets Dreamcast and packets PC? Server packets Dreamcast and packets PC are perhaps similar?
