A friend of mine made this vídeo, its from 2012.
He tried using server software from pc version of UT, and this server appers quickly on his Dreamcast.

Is there something here that deserve a look?

One of the issues is the PC and DC assets are different. I'm sure that also includes maps as well and incompatible packets being sent by the server software. Seems like it just needs a middleman translation to get it to communicate with the DC, but im sure its more complex than that.

Ok so here's a small update on this. I'm in contact with a few people who are helping me with tracking down the server software. This includes the former Sega server admin who I was talking with last year. Hopefully something will come of this but no guarantees. I'll update if we make any breakthroughs.

Heard anything back from the Broken HDD guy that might have had the Source?
