You must have a really crappy SD card. I've been yanking the power cord out of my Pi daily for the last few years and it's never corrupted on me once. I have a Kingston SD card.

Why'd you send me a "really crappy SD card"?

I completely forgot you got a kit from me! lol What kind of SD card is it out of curiosity? I regretably sent out a few generic SD cards in some my earlier kits. I always use Transcend ones now. If it's a real issue, I can send you another one. :)

Oh wow. It's a Kingston card. What are the odds? The card is probably fine in that case unless it's defective or something. I can still send you another one if you want. Up to you.

Alternatively, you may want to try RaspController. I haven't given it a shot yet, but it does seem promising. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... controller

Hmm, Didn't know about that app seems very interesting may have to give it a try.

I use the 5V from the picoPSU so the rpi0, so when I shut down the DC it automatically kills the power to the rpi. Doing this for over 7 months now an still no issues.
