I'm having trouble setting up port forwarding / dmz. I can't access my router settings even if I reset the router to gain access to the default password; it just says password not recognised

OK I used to have this and ran into this problem before. When you reset the router it does not reset the password. So you might need to do a bit of thinking about what you changed it to!
There might be another solution on t'interweb but that's sadly what I had to do - try lots of combinations until I reached the right one

OK I used to have this and ran into this problem before. When you reset the router it does not reset the password. So you might need to do a bit of thinking about what you changed it to!
There might be another solution on t'interweb but that's sadly what I had to do - try lots of combinations until I reached the right one

As far as I'm aware the password was never changed to begin with. I'm at my parents house until September due to university being closed and they said they've never changed the password. We've tried a bunch of generic ones but none of them are working so I'm kinda out of ideas...
