Well that was a lot of fun :D
We made a great team on capture the flag pcwzrd13.
Unfortunately I was less good at deathmatch.
Out of curiosity what kind of delay do you get from clicking the mouse and the gun actually shooting on the bba. I'm using an old netbook running the dreampi pcdc server thing (see photo) and the delay was about half a second i.e very difficult to aim.

P.s. My name is pronounced loo-eee not lewis (it's a 50/50 whether someone calls me lewis or not )

That's weird. I get no delay at all. I don't remember having a delay using DreamPi either.

It might be because I'm in the UK and I'm assuming the server is in America. I probably just had stupidly high ping...

Yeah I was. Q3A is one of thoee games where the slightest lag becomes very noticeable. Still great fun though :D

Hi Louis. Really nice to have a game or two with you last night.

The delay thing has always been there with the PAL version. I remember noticing it back when the game originally came out.

It might be down to the PAL 33k modem versus the American 56k modem. Although DreamPi might eliminate the speed difference between modems but I’m not sure.

Ah yeah I forgot about the different modem speeds. To be fair though I'm used to playing the PC version so any lag the dc version has was perhaps more noticeable than it should've been. It was still really fun though :-)
