DCHDMI only works with plugged VGA box

Hi,
Hope you can help me.
Installed the dchdmi this weekend and everything’s works fine as long as a VGA box is plugged. I’m on the latest 4.0 firmware and I got all hearts under the info box in the settings.
Do you have any ideas? What might be wrong?
