Not rotating the disk

I have a problem with my Dreamcast, someone can give me some help? The problem is: i bought a new laser and motor (for rotating the disk, mine has stopped working). I installed everything, but, now the laser move and try to read the disk when the lid is closed, but, the disk does not ratate. I already tested the motor, its working and i tried to calibrate the laser anti clockwise and clockwise, the motor dont even try to rotate. Someone knows how to fix this?
