Finding a Blank Disc to use as a Boot Disc

Post by FraserBlueGaming »

Hi all. I've been saving for a while in order to get a DreamPi kit, but I was also planning on getting a boot disc in order to play NTSC games (I'm from the PAL regions). I have found a method of how to set up a boot disc, however, I still need to decide which blank disc to buy and use. The main one I see is https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0009PGVL8/ ... UTF8&psc=1, but could anyone possibly help me to decide which blank disc I should use for creating a boot disc.

Thanks if you can help.

Being NTSC/U, I cant really help. however I use the discs you showed in the link (albeit in bulk number so I dont run out or suffer bad dumps too often) I do use, and have VERY little issue using on a 10x burner (My drive will not let me go lower). You SHOULD be good to use em.

I've bought thousands of these JVC Taiyo Yudens, they're the way the most reflective but for 210 meg mini CD-Rs I've got lil Memorexes, a few megs can't damage

right 0.o

Also https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000O1ILH4 Staedtler CD markers disc pens w/e they are called. Another bonus so I've color-coded my stash! Acquired them because I read Sharpie ink digs into the data layer, n I know it's happened to me because I had the PSOv2 burn not even old and it stopped reading
