DC movies GDI project Help

Anyone out there with a ODE that supports GDI and is Familiar with Creating a GDI willing to help me with a niche project?

Back in the DCforums.co.uk days I managed to make a few CDI movie discs. sadly due to size limits video quality wasnt the best in FAST scenes. I figured out how to make a MENU system and few other things and Found out i could make a Movie or episode MAX 4gb 3.5gb to be safe in GDI but could never get help back then. If no one is interested its no biggie. just something i thought was cool.

Was your 3.5-4 GB video file an SFD? If so, you could replace the video in the "Project Berkley" disc with your own and then rebuild it. This disc contains an interview with Yu Suzuki on the history of Shenmue.

Project Berkley v1.000 (1998)(Sega)(JP)[!][2M5, 2MB4, 2MB5, 2MB6, 2MB9, 2MM1][Virtua Fighter 3tb, HDR-0002].zip
https://archive.org/download/tosecdcmultimedia20190822/Project%20Berkley%20v1.000%20%281998%29%28Sega%29%28JP%29%5B%21%5D%5B2M5%2C%202MB4%2C%202MB5%2C%202MB6%2C%202MB9%2C%202MM1%5D%5BVirtua%20Fighter%203tb%2C%20HDR-0002%5D.zip

To extract/re-build the GDI, you can use this easy drag-and-drop solution, which even contains a video tutorial:

Alternatively, there's this Video2Dreamcast project, which may fit the bill for you: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15304

DEBUNK

How many times can people mix up Kbit/sec with Kb/sec

Real facts not this bull ON this link they have no idea what there talking about..
DcVD: Linear PCM at DVD Quality (.wav) compressed into Sofdec Audio 44 kHz 396 kbit/s ( .sfa CD Quality )
DVD qualty bull 396 kbit/s = 49.5kb/sec

Not even near DVD qualty these people mixing up Kbit/sec with Kb/sec there not the same at all..

kDcVD: Linear PCM at CD Quality (.wav) compressed into Sofdec Audio 32 kHz 144 kbit/s ( .sfa TV Quality )
144 kbit/s = 18kb/sec

Herd a 18kb/sec mp3 ?

is standard to see sofdec video with a resolution of 320x240 and a bitrate of 3600kbit/s on Dreamcast.

3600 kbit/s = 450kb/sec Max on cdr and only a little higher on a real gdrom or gdemu there the same speed just better seek time ..

Really dont matter what drive above a gdrom sfd and decoding speed is limited 3600 kbit/s = 450kb/sec dreamcast move maker talks in KILO bit not byte..

cant make bigger then 2gb limit normal on gdemu image.. That does not = better qualty.. if you understand the images

Vhs qualty just above that's it.. No matter what size or how you encode it ..

MIL cd benchmark was 409/kb a sec max streaming decoding from sfd from a cdr or cdi image ...

This is just all wrong complete crap..

Code: Select all

DcVD Bitrate:

Variable Bitrate (VBR)
Minimum Bitrate: 448 kbit/s
Maximum Bitrate: 3,200 kbit/s ( 3.2 Mbit/s ) Real 375 kb/sec
Average Bitrate: 2,200 kbit/s ( 2.2 Mbit/s )

Mbps Is not Mbit/sec Kbit/s is not Kb/sec
Correction here 3,200 kbit/s == 409kb/sec
3 Mbps 375 kB/s
Dont know what there smoking kbit/s is not kb/sec there mixing it up

Got low qualty 375 Kb/sec video no where near DVD or even anything remote ...

Mixing up things all over wrong stats and Specs..

To be clear:

kb = bits per second (lower case "b") or kbps

kB = bytes per second (upper case "B") or kBps or KBps

8 bits = 1 byte

The case of the letter "b, B" matters.

H. 265 playback with full bleem! emulation and atomiswave frontend using the castlevania dc beta.
i'm tired of ppl claiming that 4k is not working.
