internet connection issues

Hi,

Ever since last night disconnecting from worms. I now cannot connect to any game. PSO just spins the 4 colors after dialing before selection of ship. Dreamkey connects but no pages load.

Any ideas? I have tried disabling all DMZ and port forwards

Since it stopped working mid-game, I'd say it's probably a problem with your line voltage inducer. I would try connecting with either Alien Front Online or one of the 2K sports games and see if you're getting a full 33.6k or 33600 speed. It says the speed right after dialing. If it's below the max speed then there's something wrong with the LVI.

Ah well there's your issue. It's taking the IP that's assigned to the Dreamcast and causing a conflict. I wonder if you did something on your router yesterday when setting up the DMZ and accidently told the router to assign that IP to the Pi.

I have tried following your guide on dreamcast to set dreampi to static IP but some of the last commands do not work.

my DMZ settings just ask for a ip address I want to open it up to. set it to 192.168.1.98.

not sure how overnight the dreampi just wants to be .98 as well. arrgg frustrating

YAAAY had another device selected on static ip for .98, no idea how that happened, probably the frantic rushing around last night lol

can connect now which is good. but my DMZ setting clearly does not work on my router, the port forwarding was probably the only thing making it work. ill just port forward for the other games i think.
