Need help with GD-IDE

Hopefully someone can help.

I have a GD IDE installed from Dragoncity with a IDE to SATA converter with a 512GB SSD.

I have tried using retro dream and Dreamshell ISO loader.

All games are gdi and have been optimised from bin to ISO with the tool that comes with Retrodream.

I have followed the compatibility list for both Retrodream and ISO loader and can’t get a lot of games to load.

Sonic adventure 2 works perfectly but adventure 1 crashes after intro.

Crazy taxi crashes when the second song starts playing in game.

I’m I missing something?

Try an ide hdd and see if that helps. It could be the converter or ssd

Turns out it's the sata converter.
I had a IDE to CF adaptor and copied some games on to the CF card and they work perfectly.
Are there any good sata adaptors?

startech. com is generally good. Make sure the adapter has a "slave" setting

Return to “Support”
