The 2009 Controller patent is dated February 10,2009 & Sega Enterprises is listed as the assignee not "Sega Corporation" or "Sega". Try searching under company name "Sega Enterprises" at Patent Genius.

The "Cosmic Smash" trademark has two purposes: 1. It was originally a 1999 NAOMI arcade game that would have been ported to Dreamcast. 2. SEGA had planned on using it for what would have been a current gen console based off of Lindbergh arcade hardware that would have been competing alongside 360,PS3. It was scrapped in 2005.

Trufis, Cosmic Smash is a prototype mark that will likely never be used.
