seems it is now announced to be preordered at play-asia soon, so how fake will it turn out to be...

If it was fake, I doubt that play-asia would add it to their website, seeing as they are a well-known and reputable retailer. However, the images do look really shoddy.

SNK America is no longer in existance. This handheld will likely be a niche handheld,even in Japan & will probably be limitedly produced.

You best be would bet would be to import it.

Thankfully SEGA's upcoming android game tablet dc Pad/RINGBOOK will be sold overseas.

Play-Asia.com is a legit import gaming site. If it were fake it wouldn't be on there.

If this is real and is released, I hope they make NEOGEO pocket/pocket color games available on it. I pretty much missed out on all those when they first came out. It would be nice to have a legal way of playing them without buying the actual hardware.

EDIT Just checked both the English and Japanese official SNK Playmore sites and neither makes mention of this handheld. So yeah, I'm pretty sure this is all just a big joke...
