Could someone join me trying to play this game online?

Seems to be long steps, can we make it easier?

nobody has actually gotten it to work, or even knows if it works. The guide on OnlineConsoles is very vauge, and when I asked LordNikon (OC admin and the only known person who knows how it works) he wouldn't tell me because "if you know how networking works you should know how to do it" and because he's a condescending asswipe to everyone who's come into contact with him

this forum exists because LordNikon banned Radkin for stupid shit, so impulse and radkin made dreamcast-talk

but about your question, if you find someone to test with and get it working please make a guide. i've tried many times, many other people too, and nobody has gotten it to work

to be honest i think when the source was compiled, the networking menu was never removed (it was a port of the PSP version) then lordnikon wrote up a guide without ever using it

in fact, you should try installing WireShark, point it to your Dreamcast BBA IP, and use the command "host <BBA IP>" command when starting the packet capture. this will let you see if it even sends out packets when trying to use networking mode. If it does send out packets, perhaps it will help you figure out how it works and what we've been doing wrong. but i honestly think it doesn't work at all
