Kaiser is a really great guy in the Doom modding scene for making this happen. Doom 64 EX has to be the most faithful way on playing the N64 game on PC as it would meant to be. Anyways the source code for it has been released a while back and can be obtained here with a simple pull request: https://github.com/svkaiser/Doom64EX

Nope, we would know about it here if it did. There was a retail post released very recently for PC and consoles though included in the new Doom Eternal game. I think Doom EX port that was posted above used Java possibly, as the Blood game they ported over to Windows 10 from DOS used it, but since a different engine I am not totally sure.

Ian is looking into doing a Doom port of his own though, maybe he can get this working somehow?

Doom 64 EX is a source port like any other, with the distinction that it only runs its Doom 64 EX pk3 file. Kaiser merely expanded upon it to such an extent that he made the engine into its own thing, and has pushed it to extreme levels. It's now powering remakes of Turok 1 and 2, Blood, the System Shock re-release, and it's going to be the engine for the re-release of the Blade Runner PC game.

Since it is a source port, there's some chance that code used for other Doom and Quake ports to Dreamcast could be carried over.
