The Hideout [Reaperi Cycle Demo]

The Hideout is a short introduction into the strange world of Reaperi Cycle. You emerge into an alchemist library and try to piece back together how you ended up locked in this place. Explore your surroundings and find clues about the old chemists work before you leave, but beware, their old ways and symbols might be harder to decrypt than you anticipated. Alchemists and mystics have spent their whole life hiding their secret from the unworthy. Are you willing to take on the Great Work and transmute yourself?

What was supposed to be a little technical demo grew into something different. The Hideout gives you a glimpse into the world of Reaperi Cycle and how you, The Spirit, came to be. This short introduction focuses on the room's atmosphere and contains a tricky puzzle. Prepare youself for some brain action!

Please keep in mind that this is a demo. Reaperi Cycle will feature a much larger world to explore, inhabited by strange characters and mystical artifacts. As you progress through your journey, you will learn new cantrips and spells that will allow you to reach new area, or discover the one you know under a different light.

Download the demo for free in .CDI format!

We also want to thanks Retro Surge Game for all their support, along with Kazade and the whole Dreamcast Dev community for helping us with this project.

Looking good!

Personally I'm not a big fan of Patreon but it's nice to see how you do offer a good incentive for those that support you in that way.

Thanks for the supports to both of you :)

Up until The Hideout release date, we're going to be posting some article on Reaperi Cycle and Dreamcast Game Developement. If that's your thing, you can check that out on our Patreon. Oh, and it's available to everyone :D

First in the series, How we got started making Reaperi Cycle.

I wanted to write it in a way that's understandable for people who are not familiar with game dev slang, so let me know if that was somewhat clear for you.

Download the demo for free in .CDI format!

We decided to make this available for everyone, and remove the patreon-only requirement to access The Hideout.
We want the community to try out what we made and discover the world we wanted to create.

If you're interested and willing to support us through patreon, please do!
