how worked CDDA:
1) SDL use KOS functions for play CDDA and setup volume level
2) KOS used syscalls for play CDDA and custom driver for change volume level

for faster work need use syscalls directly or via KOS functions

Yes i know but the code im using is portable SDL CD audio code it will work on a pc as well.. Point is the sdl_cd audio driver in quake will now work on dreamcast and pc i need that for testing. Bero's quake never worked for cdda it was fake it could work over a bba .. best sound for quake1 has been SDL the kos version by bero is very lofi sounding and not very good.

If you like to help me get it right it's opensrc could allways use the help.

I see the source code in the first post, you did any changes except CDDA in the code after upload source?

Only CDDA for CD_SDL.C And SYS_SDL.. For the audio.. problem im having is geting it to play the tracks in order

Well i use kos1.1.9 lot of the saving code is custom it will not compile on the latest kos.. you can try.. I could not up port it to work at all..

thank you for looking at it.. to have cdda working i have to use mds format i think that works on GDEMU ..
