Hi, some of you may know that in 2016 neuroacid released a homebrew called cbloader 0.1 which basically loads and patches codebreaker from the same cd without the need of a separate loader and multiple discs swaps. Simply put this cdi in your dreamcast, when asked swap with your game (gd-rom or mil-cd/backup) and press start to load codebreaker and select your codes. No more need to use a separate cd loader to use your backups with codebreaker and also has some exclusives features. Here all the patches applied to codebreaker on the fly:
- Support for backup discs in MIL-CD format
- Load an external cheat codes file and adds them to codebreaker
- Patches Codebreaker main binary for compatibility with japanese_cake's custom bootROM version 1.032
This was released as spare files and you had to provide a codebreaker scrambled binary and then make a self-boot cd-r. As this can be difficult for some I simply put all together and made a self-booting cdi for you.
HELP NEEDED
One interesting feature is the ability to extend codes library by using a tool called: Xploder DC Code Compiler XPDCCC by Code Master. I wasn't able to find this anywhere, if anyone has it please send it to me and with this I could start working on a "v2" release with all widescreen codes already bundled. Will be very handy.

Re: Neuroacid's cbloader 0.1 codebreaker cdi
I uploaded that back in January for preservation sake.

As well as CBLoader_v0.1.

GDMENU actually has a cheat code menu built in which was based on this app. I have asked people if it was possible to enable it but they just ignored my messages.
The files for it are here, ripped from GDMENU's binary thanks to mrneo240.
https://mega.nz/#!LYFmkIIY!MypKER7om0AM ... XgosmDnxlM
But it was never enabled in the current version, however the file for it does reside within GDMENU. It just needs to be activated.

Browsing cheat codes list

Enabling codes for a specific game

Crazy Taxi 2 has codes on and is enabled

Selecting add game from the sub-menu

Editing new game title

Adding a code to the newly created title

Setting new code description

Selecting edit code option

Viewing/editing code values
Anyways, more valuable info can be found on this page where a lot of us were discussing this.

Yeah I know, but I have asked others who are resident coders in the community and they also never responded. II just hope Neuroacid is ok, and just taking some time away from the community. He hasn't been seen or heard from since October 2017 unfortunately, and I have started to fear the worst. I even sent him an email a year ago and no response. So it is not looking too good.

Thank you Anthony. The cbloader you uploaded are only the spare files. I added the codebreaker binary and made a self bootable cdi.

I know, I was just saying how I wished the actual cheat app was enabled from GDMENU. Really sucks we got so close and then the guy just dropped off the face of the earth.
I was also sharing the Xploder DC Code Compiler XPDCCC, that was actually what my first link was. So was fulfilling your request, as well as adding additional information about neuroacid's built in version of the app in GDMENU.
Thanks for sharing the full thing though.

i hope one day this project is completed.
is this the same thing mrneo240 was working on? or different?
i think he made a memory editor that loaded from the dc bios?
either way pretty awesome stuff.
