The roms are far bigger then the dreamcasts memory.. it's using MMU tables thrashing from the cdr so thats the slow down.. reading on the fly.. which is never going to work because the laser cant be in 2 places at once..

Makes sense, so I assume the games would run better off SD card?

They might use.. if you put the mmu table in romdisk built into the bin then loaded the game on the cdr it could read the patch instant all the time no slow down.. this can be down you need to build and mod a custom version of this emulator and make pre mmu table.. I do it one day to show people..

Got rebuild from src each game for this to work
