Blade Runner on ScummVM?

I noticed that the last version of this emulator support this game.

I wonder if somebody try to run it on Dreamcast....

They give some advise to play it on PC version here:

https://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=14900

I would like to try it in Dreamcast but I'm a bit busy this days coding.

I just want to let you know that the game is compatible with ScummVM now and maybe it could run on Dreamcast 8-)

I Tried the game and it boots. I can see the main title and part of the intro scene but it crashes at some point and then the only choice you have is to reboot the DC. I am using the GOG release.

I think it is unstable at the moment.

Please note that intro/cut scenes are slow (half speed) so not sure if the DC is powerfull enough for that game.

If you want to test (GDEMU only due to large file size) : https://mega.nz/#!iPBz0aBA!IGAOpjog9rH5 ... bHfR91ANnM

I really wish to have more time for scummVM.

Maybe with an other release than GOG, it will be better. It may an issue to play it with dreamshell.

How would one tell the difference between the gog and the original version? also how would you convert it? This would be so cool to get working on Dreamcast.

Pretty easy came https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blade_Run ... video_game) both should work on pc not to sure the dreamcast version can read all the files on the gog version..

Video's should not really be running at half speed there's nothing to much unless they scaled them up for the gog release to take advantage of modern pc..

link might be the old version https://abandonwaregames.net/game/blade-runner about 2.1g

I would try it on scummVM pc version before even trying to convert this.. If it works on there then the files should be ok

I have not even got it to work on pc version yet even thou they say it does.. crashed at the some point as the dc version could be something wrong with the games files.. i dont know/..

I had the PC Version running through SCUMM VM

I have the original CD ROM and followed instructions on the SCUMM site about getting it running (copied the discs and then did something else but can't remember what)

It was a while ago but I played the start of the game at the animal shop and moved on from there, it may well crash later though.

If someone gets this running on the Dreamcast beware as i may well kiss them

This, System Shock 2 and Alien vs Predator were my most wanted PC ports back in the day.

Got so close to System Shock
