Dreamcast Kickstarter: Dráscula: The Vampire Strikes Back

Apparently some point and click adventure game has a kickstarter for a Dreamcast port. These types of games were never really my cup of tea, but I still wish them lucky on their kickstarter.

Taken from https://www.megavisionsmag.com/point-click-game-drascula-the-vampire-strikes-back-seeking-funding-for-dreamcast-port/
Spanish developer Erbe Software is looking to port their animated Lucas Arts-era adventure Dráscula: The Vampire Strikes Back to the Dreamcast.

Erbe is only seeking about $4,000 to fund the Dráscula, and a physical Dreamcast version only costs about €10, plus shipping.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/er ... t?ref=card
As described on the KickStarter page:

In “Dráscula: The Vampire Strikes Back”, you are John Hacker, a common guy sent by a British property company to speak with ‘Count Dráscula’ about some lands. By chance you meet a gorgeous blond girl who is kidnapped by the Count himself, and you, John Hacker, set on a fun yet dangerous quest to rescue her.

It is a Spanish 2D classic point & click style adventure with tons of humor and an easy interface, now on Steam and soon in Android devices. We LOVE SEGA Dreamcast, so we want to publish a exclusive limited edition for this console of the game through Kickstarter. It will be avaible with interface and subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish, and also full audio in English and Spanish.

Obviously English isn't their first language, but I hope they put more effort into the English translation of the game than they did the English portion of their Kickstarter.

Yes this is 100% freeware and according to the original developer. http://www.alcachofasoft.com alcachofa@alcachofasoft.com

"You may not charge a fee for the game itself. This includes reselling the game as an individual item."
Who is erbesoftware??? They have nothing to do with this project at all.

*****************
These are files for the game Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back which was kindly
freewared by Alcachofa Soft S.L. and particularly thanks to support of
Emilio de Paz.

In order to run this game you need ScummVM version 0.12.0 or greater. Also you
will need drascula.dat file which is provided with ScummVM package by default.

They both could be downloaded from

http://www.scummvm.org

To use, unpack this archive to a folder, then run ScummVM, press Add Game, and
point ScummVM to that folder -- it will autodetect it and the game will appear
in game list. Then select the game entry and press Start to play.

Also there are provided separately music pack and international pack for this
game which adds Spanish, German, French and Italian subtitles. Spanish version
also has full voice overs in that language.

Enjoy this game,
ScummVM Team

DRASCULA adaptation for SCUMMVM.

Preamble:
Basically, give this game away, share it with your friends. Don't remove this
Readme, or pretend that you wrote it. You can include it in a software
collection, like a Linux distribution or coverdisk (which may be sold), but
using it in things like commercial adventure game collections without asking is
just playing dirty. You can modify the gamedata for such purposes as compressing
audio. This preamble is not legally binding, but is to clarify the intent of
the following licence.

Licence:
1) You may distribute "DRASCULA" for free on any medium, provided this Readme
and all associated copyright notices and disclaimers are left intact.

2) You may charge a reasonable copying fee for this archive, and may
distribute it in aggregate as part of a larger and possibly commercial software
distribution (such as a Linux distribution or magazine coverdisk). You must
provide proper attribution and ensure that this Readme and all associated
copyright notices and disclaimers are left intact.

3) You may not charge a fee for the game itself. This includes reselling the
game as an individual item.

4) You may modify the game as you wish. You may also distribute modified
versions under the terms set forth in this licence, but with the additional
requirement that the work is marked with a prominent notice which states that
it is a modified version.

5) All game content is Copyright (C) Alcachofa Soft S.L.
The ScummVM engine is Copyright (C) The ScummVM Team (www.scummvm.org).

searching with google seems that erbe software is the publisher of this game in Spain

asking 3600 euro for this (seems they cut the request, lately), meh... agree, doubtful, at least

This is not the ERBE Software company that published the game in the past. Take this translation from the company's kickstarter bio:

ERBE SOFTWARE, S.L. is a young Spanish software company founded at the end of 2018, being a subsidiary of the commercial company PROTOCREDIT, a company dedicated to offering companies and consumers tax, administrative and legal services. The new publisher responds to the name of ERBE SOFTWARE in honor of the distributor that operated during the so-called Golden Age of Spanish software.

The company's website shows they have many Steam ports of classic Spanish point-and-click games.

Hello all, in the end 41 individeuals backed this project, and supposedly it's shipped now. Has anybody received their copy? My pledge was cancelled due to a credit lock I had placed at the time (dealing with online online credit theft).
