John Romero Interview - Any questions?

Hi All,

Hope you are all well.

I'm lining up an interview with John Romero in the next few weeks and looking for some original questions. I have a few all ready to go, but wondering if any of you out there would like me to field one of your questions to him?

PM me, or respond to this post and i'll see what I can do.

Thanks All!

Was he involved at all in Quake 3 on dreamcast? If so, would of course be interesting to hear his thoughts on developing for the system. Also ask him his favorite video game console (excluding PC). Also ask if he knows that people are modding Commander Keen 6 and making unofficial Commander Keen episodes for dos, and what he thinks of that.

do some research about him online and find out the questions that people have wanted to know the answers to the most..ask those questions.
don't press him for answers.
don't ask the cookie cutter bullshit questions that most love to ask.
try to build a rapport with him by knowing things that most people would not know about him.
make it a comfortable conversation and be original, this way he will enjoy the interview.
idk i just find so many youtubers/podcasters/bloggers/journos/msm outlets come off unprepared and unoriginal.
just be yourself.
and congrats on sealing this interview of a programming rock star.

He wasn't involved in Quake 3 as he left iD after Quake 1. He's an awesome guy - I met him at an event in Cambridge.

I'd like to know if he was ever involved in any Dreamcast games? Did it own a dreamcast? What did he think of it? Is he aware of the Dreamcast indie scene?
