Well, perhaps someone could attempt to port these:

It would be hilarious to see these games on a Sega console like Dreamcast, of all things. I don't think Nintendo would have any problem.

Jokes aside, I hope this is the beginning of something great:

If this disassembly on Ghidra advances as much as the Super Mario 64 or Driver 2 did, then it would be awesome to have the first Silent Hill game on Dreamcast in non-bleemed form, with full features like cutscenes and saves and also totally absent of those glitches/lockups the bleemed version has.

Some great choices there! With Shakedown and RCR, I could see that happening, I mean, they got disc-based Wii ports as well as closing off Wii U production, would be great to see a DC collection.

Driver 2 was always one of those that I thought was destined for DC (maybe from the UK Dreamcast mag at the time..)
I would have loved to see what the rumoured Colin McRae 2.0 port would have looked like which was revealed around the same time that Driver 2 was rumoured.

Wasn't Melty Blood rumoured to come to the DC just before Sega killed off GD production ...?

Even if you have the src you still need to have deps like the version of opengl sdl sound libs etc we dont have all those

We have gldc opengl1.2 subset SDL old 1.2 etc

Lot of these so called portable games you need to port the deps and libs first to even start looking at them..

Dont want be a debbie downer But porting from source code i have done many times it turns in to years of work to get any speed out of it..

Dreamcast does not act like a pc only has a 8kb cache and is embedded low powered system..
