Take the Bullet control configuration, if anyone is wondering.

Stick: View. Inverted by default. Patched by MegaVolt.
X/Y/A/B: Movement.
R: Shoot.
L: Zoom using regular weapons.
L+Y: Zoom using sniper rifle.
L+A: Crouch.
L+X/B: Lean left/right.
L+Down: NPC commands (wait, follow and interact).
L+Up: NPC commands. These ones do not work in this prototype, afaik.
START: Does not work ingame.

I'd say (warning, wild speculation here) Take the Bullet was the very first version of the Raven Software's Soldier of Fortune Dreamcast (the disc based game with the longest loading screens of all time) engine. It has exactly the same control scheme, sniper rifle works exactly the same, gameplay feels the same and Take the Bullet even has a gore system.

Incredible finds, thank you very much!

Would be possible to have CDI version of the Simpsons tech demo?

I would love to try it on real console.
Thanks in advance.

BREAKING! Andy just informed me that Take the Bullet changed to "Project Firearm" later in its development. He seems to actually have the last build on GD-R!

Well I'm not sure how complete it is but it's dated over a year later than the latest build on this dev kit.

Hey Pc, I gather you've been in touch with Andy - can you ask him why he ghosted me?

He sent those images to me a while back via email and then stopped responding, no idea why.
