Yeah i have one it's mirco sd and normal.. TF card (TransFLash card) is also known as Micro SD card, was jointly developed by Motorola and SANDISK and was launched in 2004. It is a ultra-small card (11x15x1mm) and just has a quarter of the size of SD card, so the TF card can be considered as the smallest memory card.

Meanwhile, Trans-Flash Card is a member of SD Card product. Besides, the TF card can work with SD adapter and it is compatible with any SD card reader. TF card can be also used as SD card after it is converted by SD card adapter.

The T-Flash card is the smallest flash card on the market and is suitable for a number of multimedia applications. As TF card adopt the design of SD structure, so the SD Association officially renamed it as Micro SD at the end of 2004 to make it a member of SD products.

It looks nice, but it's the same general thing as previous SD readers and DreamShell.

In China they call micro SD cards TF still for some odd reason. If you get anything from China it will almost always say TF instead of micro SD. TF is just a really different way of saying micro SD.

Quick question - is there any point in using an SD Reader/Dreamshell in tandem with a GDEMU? Like perhaps to use the GDEMU for full games and Dreamshell for emulators/homebrew?

Yes, with the correct image files for Sega Megadrive games installed on the card, Dreamshell via GDEmu will play them pretty much flawlessly. This is the best way I know of and continue to do it this way.

You can back-up your saves on the sd card. Its a great solution for that.

Also, the serial SD adapter will fully support the QuakeWorld port Shouma is working on. So it will in fact be able to directly download new maps from the servers you are joining and will let you play new maps without having to make a new disc image! Pretty damn cool feature if you ask me!

Also @AgentMomo, you should totally rename this thread since it has nothing to do with a new version of Dreamshell. If is about the Serial SD adapter, not Dreamshell releasing a new version, which is what the software is called. Not the hardware...

People will be coming in here thinking there is a new Dreamshell version lmao.
