Massive Midway games source code released! How about some ports to DC?

As we all know pretty much by now, Midway had a pretty decent relationship with the Dreamcast and many great arcade games were ported over to it. It has just come to my attention that source code for a massive amount of games in their library has been made available! Even their Nintendo Exclusive games like Crusin' USA! Now, I don't know about everybody else, but the thought of having so many classic Midway games source code available is fucking insane! We have the potential to get games that should be low speced enough to run on the Dreamcast no problem.

The original San Francisco Rush and many other amazing games having the possibility for Dreamcast releases of arcade perfect ports is just too damn awesome to fathom!

I am even seeing Command and Conquer Remastered collection source code in here too. But there is a ton of games in here with multiple pages of source code.

That is really amazing Anthony! A nice combo pack of Smash T.V. and Total Carnage would be fun haha! I saw Forsaken on there as well...... interesting. I need to look at the entire list

Yeah I been asking for Forsaken to get ported for the past 3 or so years hehe. Would seriously be bad ass. One of my all time favorite games for sure!

Just copy/pasting this, giving some perspective to the possibility of seeing Cruisin' USA racing towards Dreamcast :)

If in the future other 64 titles get their source code released/decompiled, would any of your current work be usable in getting them up and running on Dreamcast also?

Yes pretty much instantly outside of the sound work, although that would be pretty close too. The graphic and audio are emulated/translated from n64 to dc like a traditional emulator but all the game itself is running natively

This is fantastic news!

I see Trog is on there. Would MEGA approve if that got a Dreamcast port, haha. Always loved that game.
