Ultimate Doom - WINCE CDI AND GDI release by Laurent Comby (DC Preservation)

Hi All,

Check out more of the awesome work that Laurent Comby, Ian Michael and DreamcastMeThat have been upto looking into the unofficial original port of Ultimate Doom for the Sega Dreamcast.

It was ported using a Sega Katana dev kit, which kinda makes this one that little more special.

Some updates regarding the video:
Mouse works for gun fire
WIN95 port, not DOS
VMU can save game settings, but not game progress
This isn't a homebrew

Dreamcast Doom 2000 Windows CE It was a technical proof of concept Thanks to (Laurent C.):

not a port of dos doom but DoomCE.c - A WinCE/Win32 port of Doom

Do you have compare this version with others ?
Still not find the good preset with dreamshell HDD for this version...

Really amazing to see this Katana SDK port, can't wait to try it out, and thanks to gamesreup and Ian Michael for the content!

NP src is also there for others to add networking which the wince dev kit supports ..

What Wads is possible?

PS1 Wads and 3DO Music?
Doom 64?

VMU Animations?
Doom Logo > Marine Face with various states regarding health like ingame.
Doom Logo > Health - Armour - Ammo , Like another build I have tryed.

Vibration Pack Function.

Just thinking out loud Dreaming lol Doom feels pretty solid on Dreamcast.
