Xing Hong is definitely letting me down doing some tests right now, audio skips sometimes lol not in all types of vcd, have 3 "models" here

Will be happy with hong at first and this great community can improve things later

Well Hot Dog! Ok so that’s the hard part, now that we know it will work we have a lot of options.

From what i remember xing hong was picky when booting from another bin as far as it playing vcds afterwards.

Yea It seems it doesn’t like to share.. I had to put it in a sub folder. They both work independently but when you Put them both in the root of the disc, it kicks you back to the bios.

It also uses GINSU by default and I forgot to change GINSU.cfg after moving, Which is probably why it’s not working.

We will get it working tho! Perhaps Ian’s dreamcast media player is a better option?

It has a bin called 0EXEC or something I think is auto executing? If this is a normal behaviour of the dc I have never seen it before.

For other video formats, no doubt, Ian's media player, to custom video compilations that someone wants to do.

For my physical official VCDs, just disc swapping software help, the other option would be DreamMovie, but has that dongle check.

Btw, running DreamMovie from dreampassport can skip dongle check?

Unfortunately that VCD player is WAY beyond my skill level to crack. Launching it from the browser Crashes. I have tried and failed. Megavolt is our only hope!

I don't know what I was doing wrong yesterday but both are in the disc root and seem to be working.. I totally bypassed the browser for faster loading times. Hope that's ok. So now second option will launch XingHong.

Hope it works. I know its no fun making coasters..
