Wipeout Rewrite Dreamcast Port With Sound

Post by dcsteve »

Jnmartin84, the same person who brought you Doom64 DC, just ported Wipeout Rewrite and it's looking great. Here's the video:

The Dreamcast build is out. Getting above 120 FPS, lol!

True. More updates will follow, so stay tuned. This was the initial public release.

Dreamcast Games you play Online: Well I haven't played online since 2000 with my Dreamcast, but Quake 3 was a regular.

Been messing around with this on my Dreamcast. So sick. I did want to mention I had it lock up once when I went into the menu to change a song, but that could have just been a random thing.

That has been solved that's super old version where 60fps now with 12x draw distance and lighting lol JM dont stand still dont make the mistake of thinking an alpha is all there is he is working on it ever day with new versions miles better then the last.. even 3d modeled dc controller on the menu now and native widescreen list goes on..

This thing rockets along it basically sits at 80-120fps I see peaks of 200fps in some areas.

I wonder if Jnmartin84 will be adding extra graphical polish like he did with Doom64? One would think it's almost certain since he is still optimizing it, yet it already is running perfectly!
