Shenmue II - English Edition?

I'm downloading this now to see if this is really Shenmue 2 in English. I'll post my results upon testing. If this really is an English language release then this is something worth checking out (being that only the Xbox has an English version of this game). To elaborate more, they more than likely used the audio track from the Xbox dubbed it to the European or Japanese DC release. Neither version was released in English due to Bill Gates/Microsoft owning the game. As most of you know, this was how Space Channel 5 - Part2 English edition came into the Dreamcast world.

Well, after further review...it works. Not all things have speech, but there is English speech in the game. 100% playable. I sort of got hooked on it while testing it. It is weird that the analogue pad is for movement instead of the digital joystick and that the trigger is "RUN".

I do like it.

Irony:
Microsoft bought out the game from Sega in an attempt to get Dreamcast users in North America to buy an Xbox to play it, and here we are still using the Dreamcast and playing it in English!

Thanks a lot Dobbs, nice work. ;) Very addictive game. I couldn't put the controller down, I've never had a game hold my attention so well. The graphics are the best i've probably seen, & very realistic.

according to Sega of America, NO! a big fat no. damn assholes.

well if i want to answer the question put forth correctly. yes they planned a third one. it had been planned from the very beginning. it got shit canned when the Dreamcast failed. so you should be asking if they are going to make the 3rd one? the answer as of now is no

Sorry I say, but Sega is out of touch with the players (us fans) and what is a good idea. It is sad but true but we'll never see another Dreamcast. I believe the DUX is the last game of note for us fans as well.

Do not use the link I provided a while ago, please use the link below. This newer version by Familyguy has FULL English speech, not just the partial English speech that was lifted from Xbox with English subtitles.
