3DO Emulator?

I know this must be an old topic but all I am finding on google are dead links from over 10 years ago so anyways I just found out the 3DO played burned games and wanted to know if there was an emulator or boot disc to play?

Well the Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 and FZ-1 Models play burned games (are the best 3DO models too). The GoldStar 3DO's actually have copy protection on them.

For a 3DO Emulator I'd use FreeDo. That's the only one I've tried at least and it works.

Panasonic 3DO /Sanyo 3DO (32Bit)

Sanyo 3DO.png

-CPU RISC-
32 bits - 12,5 MHz (ARM60): uses VY86C060-20FC/VY86C06020FC-2 (chips speed of 20FC 20 MHz).

-System-
Bus speed 50 MB/s (bus síncrono de 32 bits a 20 MHz)
36 channels DMA
2 MB RAM
1 MB VRAM4

Coprocessor

32 KB SRAM4

Vídeo Graphics
Res 640 × 480, 320 × 240 (real) 60 Hz for version NTSC

Clearly it could have been ported or Emulated by the Dreamcast console

The xbox port runs half speed with 4x the power you must not understand only 3do emulators are very poor and need 2ghz pc run and then not even fullspeed like the saturn it's hard to emulator specs mean jack shit if you got no good emulator to port

poor emulator very badly optimized so porting it to anything is very bad and runs bad it hardly runs on powerful pc much like the saturn emulators it's taken 20 years to get a good one and they dont run on low end hardware dreamcast has 200mhz xbox has 733mhz and cant run this thing fullspeed specs are fine to look at but only few people have even made a working 3do emulator

You need at least a PS3 to run a 3DO emulator lol and even then the emulator doesn't exist for PS3 yet, but should get it hopefully since now it has dynarec on the system and proper homebrew OpenGL. Like Ian said even OG Xbox can't do more than some 2D games with that emulator. It is really unfortunate as I used to own one with 60 games back around 2001 and really loved the system. Sure ports of most games are on PSX so you can emulate those on Dreamcast to some extent.

Possibly I say a stupid thing from the ignorance, but the Raspberry pi 4 of 4Gb can emulate the 3rd (RetroPie / lr-opera) and it works quite well. I haven't tried it much, but I can say that games like Dr. Hauzer suffer from slowdowns but others like Dragon's Lair, Strahl or Space Hulk work really well. And I don't think the Dreamcast has much less power than a Raspberry pi 4.
