Upporting them to kos2.0 is not going to happen.. Really dont need to.. I have my old tool chain just not setup at the moment.. OswanDC needs an update as well.. We will see thanks for asking. Really NeoCD SDL is the only one with pvr rending. it looks really sharp and is VGA working.. I still like the fact if you had real NeoGEO cds it was a burn once boot disk and play..
:o :o oswandc yes please. Used to enjoy playing wonderswan. Still have my unit in orange. The gundam games were nice as well as x card of fate.
Major thing is the others for download are small screen in the center this is fullscreen properscale

Well just for you this is still using the last update i released Also i did not port this in the first place only updated it. but it was an elf file no one even bothered to try it.. This is still 2003.. I do intented to update it in the future but for now here is complete set of colour ws games using the last update i did.. It's fullscreen scaled no sound old remember but should be faster then the one floating around or on websites. Some games run Well others dont.. Remember this was compiled in 2003 so it's not a new update.

Usage

-----------

The menu is pretty simple: use "Load ROM" to browse the file system and select
a rom, "Reset Game" to reset the game, and "Resume Game" to return to the game.
Options can be selected by the DPAD up/down buttons, and activated by pressing
A. B will quit to the previous menu (currently this means that when you're in
the "Load ROM" menu you will return to the main menu, and when you're in the
main menu you will return to the game).

In-game controls:

DPAD - Wonderswan DPAD
A, B - Wonderswan buttons A & B
START - Wonderswan START
X Returns you to the gui to select more games
Y - Quit game (for debugging purposes) does not return you to the menu

Also lot of games have been translated to english http://www.romhacking.net/?page=transla ... ssearch=Go

Some rpgs and mega man games were never on other systems.. lot to me are the best version of those games

The Neo Geo CD emulator is Neo4all.
It's not neo4all
I ported NeoCD/SDL DC with a huge team of coders, before Chui Neo4all will work better because of having sfx sound Neocd/sdl is a boot disk for real neogeo cds and backups works just like bleemcast but it had no sfx sound only cdda music and not all games has cdda music working but it has proper speed no framskip and true non SDL rendering it's pvr hardware .
all so had an overclocked version that ran metalslug 2 with no slowdown. i dont have it anymore ..

NeoCD/SDL DC was way before neo4all And was official i had permission from the creator It still had x86 asm in it why no one had ported it. with out blackaura porting the x86 asm to c we have no neocd emulators It was a dreamproject for years.

KallistiOS; Dreamcast Port: Ian Michael, Fosters, Troy Davis (GPF)- bugfixes to the timer, and CDrom.c files, BlackAura- translated extract 8 asm function, BlueCrab- helped with z80 makefile output to C, *name removed by request* -fsopen routine.
Portions of the code is released under LGPL.

Only SDL left in it was the cdda music.

It's ok i just know all the people that put hard work in to
NeoCD/SDL DC almost every scene coder I like to keep the history. quzar did finsh it with sfx sound and all.. people should try it.. neo4all has that sdl rending look not that sharp if you try them you would could see.. Neo4all is much more complete then my old release

Here is a first release of an old and outdate project Smpeg2.0 player for dreamcast

Build date

Code: Select all

KallistiOS 1.1.9: Tue Aug 12 16:17:29 AUSEST 2003
  MOTHERLOAD@IMRTECH:/usr/local/dc/kos-1.1.9
smpeg 2.0 for dreamcast player

Here is an example video Resident Evil 7 biohazard - Lantern Gameplay Trailer Encoded it's selfboot cdi ready to try on a dreamcast or emulator
https://mega.nz/#!fvJG2QRD!lZ-Bev6qmzGs ... 3nQE0fieZM
Watching this you can kind of see how Resident Evil 7 biohazard would of looked like on dreamcast.. It's good for video game trailers

Here is an example Horizon Zero Dawn - PlayStation Experience 2016 The Machines Trailer PS4

https://mega.nz/#!jyBhxaoT!ydXBx5gmQKr5 ... 553Xa63x44
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to use following encoding picture for how to setup videos
Sync is hard to get but, it can be done almost with changing the bitrate and
sample rate, this video player is from 2003 i ported smpeg
and wrote the videoplayer. i no longer have the src to this
and i cant update it at this time..

It's great for video trailers cartoons no filesize limt
make your video named video.mpg

This has sound and mpeg 1 video mpeg 2 audio

ShanaEncoder Is the best to use and is free and works for this player allmost all others dont work.

smpegbuilderDC1.rar

This is the builder and player all in one..
To build place your encoded video in DATA_HB video.mpg
then click build_image.bat it will make a selfboot.cdi ready to
play on your dreamcast.

The builder was put together by mrneo240 2 tools and Sizious

It can run higher bit rates and resolutions but it will be slower, 23fps encoded is possible , 30fps is as well but the sound will not sync at the rate Any screen size 640x480 down will work for example. custom sizes will work it scales. I was going to use this just for cutscenes in homebrew games I have tryed to port smpeg again using kos2.0 and compiles but does not work. i dont have the video player i wrote it was simple no play stop rewind fastforward or skip it just plays the video from start to finish.

Ian micheal,

Thanks to
Sizious and mrneo240,
