Well, HLDC was never the most stable game to begin with, so having mods that push the system to it's limit isn't always going to be a smooth experience.

However, R4amb0 has done a good job here optimizing his ports of mods to run better on the Dreamcast by making the textures PVR format, and breaking down larger levels into multiple sections. So he does a fair bit of optimization.

He has been working on HLDC mods for the past 10 years, and I have been beta testing them for him for about the past 8 years or so since sometime in 2010 after he finished The Hunger.

In the past 2 years I have also become a modder for the PC game Battlefield 2, and trying to get good with it. I will eventually move on to working with HLDC as I am really keen to make a mod that takes place in WW2 since WW2 shooters are pretty rare on DC. The Day of Defeat assets will come in handy there.

Ok i will first try port Caged and A.Incident then i goin back to 007.
Its not possible port hl2 but its possible to make a hl2 mod for hl1 due the .maps and models and other assets are very similar.

Is there a list with all Half Life mods for the Dreamcast that have been finished and prototypes?

I remember Counter Strike, They Hunger and Paranoia!

Go to TIZ and type in Half-Life. I uploaded all the ones I could find so they weren't lost to the internet. By finished do you mean complete working with saves? Because a lot are finished as best as they could be, but due to the limitations of working without the engine SDK mods can;t be super complex besides changing maps and models. So anything with custom .dll's won't work.

That HL2 demake mod I have been following closely on moddb for a while, but imho that is going to use custom code out the ass and would need custom .dll's.

Thanks a lot bro, and yes! I mean games that you can save and finish. Going to check it on TIZ now!
