I'm happy to say the US version of Skies of Arcadia uncensored is almost ready for share !

Any improvement playing it on a ntsc-u console via crt/scart cable than the last PAL port?

I tested both roms on Redream. The one with the English voices runs perfect, however the one with Japanese voices doesn't boot the title screen, hope that can be fixed.

I guess yes, the "speed" is 60Hz via crt or vga in the US version instead of 50Hz for the PAL version via crt.

Any idea why?

Specs:
-North American Dreamcast with GDEMU Clone
-North American consumer grade CRT
-A Dreamcast SCART cable from https://retro-access.com/
-RGB2COMP - RetroTINK to convert the SCART to component (YPbPr)

May you have to turn off you screen and turn on again ?
did you use a US version or a PAL one ?
The PAL has a vga patch, it would explain your issue.
